I'm an ex-Nun, and I became so after reading the writings of Karen Armstrong, who is also an ex-Nun. She wrote the best-selling books, The History of God, and The Battle for God, and she makes a lot of sense to me. Then I became a Deist and Unitarian Universalist after I read the writings of a man who not only feels the same way about the Abrahamic religions (Judaism, Christianity and Islam).
