Fragile Voters Due to Potential Changes of Address
Another HAVA horror. The HELP AMERICA VOTE ACT MUST BE LEGALLY REMOVED. If you have financial problems and you change your address, HAVA can swallow your voting rights whole unless you take stringent precautions. Here's a portion of a CNN article that documents evacuations due to the Arizona and New Mexico fires. Will the potential voting casualties stay at destruction of only 10 structures, or will it climb? How many people who end up evacuating will be permanent evacuees?

An Election Day Incident
(2 comments) Would anybody vacuuming a floor continue to do so if a visible trail of dirt was blowing out? Repairing the vacuum or buying a new one is just going to cost more money. It might be time to make changes. If the floor is carpeted, consider getting rid of the carpet. Buy a broom, dust pan and a carpet sweeper.

I live in Cincinnati and the only means by which I maintain a semblance of sanity is by asking questions. Lots of them.

Uncontrolled Background Checks Exacerbate Unemployment
This lawsuit won't do anything to change the laws that permit potential employers to demand complete background checks. I'm all for FBI and police checking. However, Bush era security laws are still well and alive today and I believe directly impact unemployment and credit. This story should not be seen as another tale of terror from a bankruptcy court. It is not a story about who should bear the responsibility for reporting and maintaining accurate credit information. Don't you think it is time to legislate to get rid of these Bush era security data mining industries and to end the practice of conducting background checks on potential job applicants? Don't you think it's time to legislate that potential job applicants SHOULD BE EXCLUSIVELY REQUIRED to undergo FBI and police checks and nothing else?

Picture "Neo- Feudalism" with NUKES & LOTS OF GUNS
(2 comments) I came across two alarming articles. The first article details - what I think is a significant number of the possible closures of U.S. Post Offices. The second article is about an alarming rise in the number of unemployed persons who live in motels, the result of being foreclosed out of their homes and possibly encountering shelters for the homeless that are strained to the max. I think we may be going down with the collapsing infrastructure. That collapse will likely finish off American voting rights. Two laws are in place that - by default - perhaps will ease the way for "Neo-Feudalism". They are:

The Election Assistance Commission and Voting on the Internet
Supporters of President Barack Obama - HEAR YE HEAR YE! Is there anyone out there who hasn't hit the snooze setting on your alarm? The Census of 2010 is around the corner. Please do something NOW to legally get rid of The Help America Vote Act and The American Patriot Act. Surely you have noticed that Democrats and Republicans have been going at it - mano a mano (against eachother as well as within their own circles). If you are worried about your monetary survival, foreclosures, government sponsored electronic surveillance and Provisional Voting, please acknowledge that our civil rights are in fact - OUR CURRENCY. Our civil rights will go to the "autodafe" if the 2010 Census and the 2012 Presidential Election occur with the above 2 laws still intact.
