I am a 57 year old wife, mother, and grandmother. I am a liberal among a sea of right wing zealots and rednecks.

Hobbies: reading, blogging, spending time with my grandchildren, loving on my dog.

Technically belongs to Methodist Church but spiritual journey has, of late, led to decision that spirituality should be an individual thing and most organized religion is a threat to stability and actual development of ideals in beliefs and behavior taught by Jesus, The Buddha, and Gandhi.

I was an Advanced Nurse Practitioner and Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist for 26 years, but was disabled due to an automobile accident and then a fall.

I am a lifelong Democrat but I have voted for the person, and not the label. Moderate on most issues, liberal on some, conservative on a couple of things.

I am compassionate, devoted to my causes, strong, and forceful when arguing my points on politics and life.
