Monday, November 5, 2007 Hillary Clinton on Ending the War in Iraq: A Lack of Presidential Leadership
Hillary Clinton's plan for ending the war is weak and imprecise. She refuses to commit to bring all of our troops home by the end of her first term in office. Clinton's military and diplomatic advisers believe our invasion of Iraq was justified and a military solution exits for resolving the war. Clinton is not demonstrating the qualities of leadership we need in our next President to end the war in Iraq.

Hillary Clinton, John Edwards and Barack Obama travel the country claiming they'll get us out of Iraq. Yet they refuse to call for an immediate withdrawal of our forces now or by 2013. Hillary Clinton, John Edwards and Barack Obama refuse to commit to ending the U.S. occupation of Iraq by 2013. "If you haven't seen enough to know that we need to get all the troops out [of Iraq] then you aren't watching the same war that I and the rest of America are seeing," is Bill Richardson's response. Richardson is listening to the voices of our soldiers on the ground in Iraq. Their message is withdraw now.
Saturday, October 27, 2007 John Edwards v. Bill Richardson on The Path Out of Iraq (1 comments)
Five years ago was a critical week in the decision by our nation to go to war with Iraq. While the Senate was debating the war, John Edwards gave a well-publicized speech in Washington, D.C. on October 7, 2002, supporting the Bush Administration's rationale for invading Iraq. Edwards is wrong on Iraq today. Edwards leaves open the door to the U.S. intervention in Iraq for years to come.
