Dr Zernik has gained substantial experience in recent years in analyzing fraud in banking and government computer systems. In such research he documented the important role that large-scale fraud in such systems plays in the current financial crisis and in abuse of Human Rights by governments in California, in the US, and in Israel. His research in these areas was accepted as part of official United Nations Human Rights Council (submitted under Human Rights Alert, NGO) in 2010 with the note, "corruption of the courts and the legal profession in California", and in 2013 with the note, "lack of integrity in the electronic records of the supreme court, the district courts and the detainees courts in Israel".
Today, Dr Zernik is permit holder for the Occupy Tel Aviv encampment.

"Chief Clerk" Sarah Lifschitz, who falsely appeared in that title for over 10 years, resigned as of October 31, 2013. Today's letter to the law professors voiced the concern that the Bar's failure to take action in this matter, which is central to integrity of the justice system, should lead to the opinion of "corruption of the legal profession in Israel" under reasonable international review standards.

A paper, detailing large-scale fraud in the electronic records of the court of the State of Israel was accepted for publication in an international computer science journal, following two cycles of anonymous peer-review by international computer-science academic scholars. The facts, detailed in the paper, should be deemed equivalent to an unannounced regime change in the State of Israel over the past decade.
