The preset times are a multicultural times. Failing to understand another people's culture and psyche is failing flat-footed. India and America have come a long way in establishing deeper ties. Ideally. both these great democracies should be good friends. Now, to some extent they are. But if the recent spat between the two is any indication, then all's not well between them - below the surface. Why?
Thursday, December 19, 2013 BEYOND! - Life, Death, and Hereafter (5 comments)
In general, we human beings, mostly unlettered in finer points of quantum theory or free-mystic metaphysics, fail to grasp how both higher spirituality and advanced science do not contradict but complement each other -- complete not compete with the other. Hence, we regretfully fail to live a holistic, an honest, and a holy life. That we must -- for we have to lose much -- to such an end is the thrust of this verse.
Wednesday, September 18, 2013 WAS JESUS A CHRISTIAN? - Metaphysics of Jesus (29 comments)
The Master has been misinterpreted since two thousand years. His 'hard' parables could not be comprehended by his simple followers then, as now; because the Master spoke in a 'strange' tongue, alien to his own people. His metaphysics bear no resemblance to the teachings of his own age, era, area, or -ism of those times. For it was not a Middle-Eastern philosophy but that of a Free Mystic. A Self-Realized Master Yogi.
Friday, August 16, 2013 "No Master! No God!" - Isms, Religion and Atheism (31 comments)
A recent poll by WIN-Gallop across 57 countries shows that 59% of the people think of themselves as a "religious person". Yet, the number of atheists too is rapidly increasing. Basically, it is so because of the excesses by the clergy from the ancient to the present times. It's also owing to the outlandish claims and superstitious utterings of religious books; which, a modern thinking person cannot believe in.
Wednesday, July 3, 2013 Frankly, my dear, I do give a damn! - Spirituality and Homosexuality! (12 comments)
It's becoming rather "un-cool" now days to speak up plainly about why homosexuality bothers hundreds of millions across the world. It has been so politically well-rehearsed, with the politicians needing votes of the homosexual community, that even popular religious leaders are treading softly on this issue. Perhaps it's time to be real and up-close about this vexed issue, without pulling any punches.
Tuesday, May 28, 2013 The Quest for God and Vegetarianism (9 comments)
Can we be spiritual, yet take the life of innocent animals? It's an individual quest. Mystics and yogis of the East advocate a vegetarian lifestyle before even undertaking a quest for God. Western civilization, especially insofar as it follows the Abrahamic faiths, does not put such deep emphasis on non-killing and eating of animals. Ultimately, each seeker must choose his or her own path for finding Truth. And, God.
Wednesday, April 17, 2013 Drugs, Delusion, and Divinity (9 comments)
The usage of some sort of drugs is thought to be divinely sanctioned in many cultures. In India, South America, and American Indian, elsewhere too, mild forms of drugs is assumed to take one into "depths" of higher spiritual realms. Yet, in higher mystical circles, especially amongst yogis, drug usage for inducing metaphysical experiences is not sanctioned. For, only a lucid mind "gets" The Lord. This free mystics believe.

EVM usage, on a large scale, is unconstitutional in India as per 1984 Supreme Court ruling . Also, EVMs are easily hack-able; anywhere in the world, including the U.S. Dangerous for democracies world-wide. Return to ballot-paper voting a sine qua non.
