I was born. I went to Vietnam in pursuit of glory and only found vanity. I then went to a university where I studied political philosophy with John Schaar and others, among several other things. I wrote a dissertation on The Dissolution of Citizenship. I taught at the university and at two community colleges for a while until I discovered the academic disciplines were neither academic enough nor disciplined enough. I study and teach Integral Transformative Practices (following George Leonard and Michael Murphy). I live in a remote part of Eastern Oregon.
