Barbara Klaassen

Barbara is a 60-something who has traveled the world and decided it's a great place to visit but she wouldn't want to live there. By default, she lives in North Georgia with her youngest daughter, 4 cats, and a cockatiel named "Sunshine." With a business degree in hand, she has been a mother, a teacher, a starving artish, a starving writer of short stories and poetry, with seven books floating around with some of her work featured. After turning the "Big 60," she decided enough was enough and found a room with a view in the mountains where she still paints and writes when the spirit moves her. An avid reader, she loves history and the Internet, which, she maintains, is a window on the world without all the hassle of airports. She readiy admits to being eccentric as a bonus that comes with age; she says it beats being referred to as "weird" and "far out" when you're younger. Her writing covers a broad spectrum so don't be surprised where you see her work popping up.
