I am retired high school science/chemistry teacher living the
"good life" on Vancouver Island. I now have the time to pursue many of the activities I put on hold during my very busy life as an educator and parent. These include playing soccer, prospecting, reading local history and attending historical society meetings, and taking on the many enironmental issues of the day, especially with regard to global warming. We must all work together to ensure that our planet survives!
