The Casey Anthony verdict has the country up in arms about the injustice done and the fallacy of the American justice system - what isn't being called into question is the notion that if the jurors had voted to convict while reasonably doubting Casey's guilt, they too would have been guilty of murder.

The capture of bin Laden reveals the true malady behind the conservative movement and shows that nothing the President does will ever draw anything but ire. They have shown their hand: it is not about policy or keeping the country safe, but only the failure of a black President. This from the party who has adopted "patriotism" as their calling card. That's rich.
