Michael Guyer is a returned Peace Corps volunteer having served in Slovakia (2000-2002).  He holds an MA in International Peace & Conflict Resolution from Arcadia University (2006) and is currently working in the International Programs/Study Abroad office of Mount Union College in Ohio.  He subscribes to the schools of thought of Howard Zinn and Noam Chomsky; is currently reading Pablo Neruda's "Memoirs" and Ryszard Kapuscinski's "Travels with Herodotus"; is most likely listening to some live Pearl Jam; and, would rather be wandering the cobbled streets of Prague on a cold winter night.  He is originally from the Hershey/Harrisburg area of Pennsylvania.  Yes, he likes chocolate.

"One's destination is never a place, but rather a new way of looking at things."  -Henry Miller
