I am 75 with several children and grandchildren. After 3 army years when I worked indirectly for the NSA I became a Berkeley teacher and peace activist and fought the system for education reform. In 1971 I formed a remote CA cooperative community and engaged the Forest Service over logging practices and pesticide use. Then became active in Central American issues, followed by Freeze Campaign activism and began publishing an activists' newsletter. I have been on the ragged fringes of many or most causes since and have been engaging remotely from Ecuador for 5 years. My father was a prison guard and a Berkeley policemen. I am probably the only living person with fond memories of Folsom Prison. I have long been especially interested in combating corruption in both its 'legal' and illegal forms and in serious progressive reform.
