"The People" Didn't Speak: They Grunted! "The People Spoke" Nov. 2. We hear it everywhere. But poll data suggest what voters said isn't clear at all, though we wouldn't know that from the spin the results are getting. This is a problem with the current state of news, spin, polling, and democracy in general. It reduced the people's voice to a grunt.
