Yellowstone Supereruption
(5 comments) The article describes the nut-and-blots magnitude of -- and zero preparedness for -- the inevitable and US-crushing supereruption of the Yellowstone Caldera. It provides comparison and contrast with earlier supereruptions, all of which are among the most violent and long-lasting events that happen on our planet. Although it could happen tomorrow, when is not the point. Zero preparation is the point.
