I've been an activist to one degree or another since I was 11 years old. This started with attending rallies against the Vietnam War with my family. At that age I also remember attending a grape boycott picket with my older brother and attempting to win people to my side. I now have 2 focuses. One focus is on the war against the truth by the media now controlled by the most powerful few. The second focus is on the war on the ecosystem by both the corporations and the lifestyles of most Americans and others. These people are either oblivious to or insensitive to the effects our life styles have on ecosystems and all of the other species on earth that make up those ecosystems.

Let a Return to True Christianity Return on Columbus Day
(6 comments) Columbus and the Europeans that followed him greedily raped and devastated the landscape of the Americas in the name of Christ. Why not use an understanding of the true Columbus and how twisted his and Europe's interpretation of Christianity was to catalyze a new movement of global peace and harmony among both peoples AND nature?

"Zionist" - Why I think it's usually dumb to use the term
(1 comments) On the one year anniversary of the devastating Israeli attacks on Gaza, many of us are grasping for terms to describe those that would defend the nightmarish killing of 1400 nearly defenseless children, women and men. Here I say why using the term "Zionist", at least without any modifier, is a self-defeating idea.
