Investigate the Pentagon Pundit Program

we can't let this story slide. We need to push hard to get a full accounting of this program.
The Pentagon now says that it has suspended this program, but we still don't know what really happened. What was the extent of the program? Did the Pentagon leverage the financial interests of the analysts? And what steps are being taken to make sure, now that it's cancelled, that it will never happen again.

This is personal for me, and for a whole lot of Americans who lived through the 2004 election.
As a veteran, it disgusts me that the Swift Boats we loved while we were in uniform on the Mekong Delta have been rendered, in Karl Rove's twisted politics, an ugly verb meaning to lie about someone's character just to win elections.
