I believe that I was born as an independent and critical thinker with a built-in, finely tuned "Bullshit Detector". Even as a small child I was never satisfied with simple answers to my questions, I would always ask why the answers were so, what was it that made them true. I have always looked at the world as is really is and am incapable of seeing it any other way. For example, when I was 3 years old I figured out that the whole Santa Claus "thing" was a lie and stayed up all night to prove it. I was 5 1/2 years old when JFK was assassinated and I remember quite vividly being in the kitchen with my mom, when over the transistor radio that sat on top of the refrigerator, came the shocking news. My mom burst into tears and I was dumbfounded. All I could think about was how was it possible for the President of the United States, the most well protected man in the world be killed so easily. It just didn't make sense to me, and when things (anything and everything) haven't made sense to me, I have always sought to learn the "TRUTH" about them and continue to do so.
