Hanging By a Thread It seems that our Constitution is now hanging "by a thread," if it is hanging on at all. So is it too late to save ourselves? My deepest hope is that it's not. I still have faith in the goodness of the American people, and I'm encouraged by the increasing disapproval for GWB and his co-conspirators. Don't let me down, America...

Battle Hymn of the Imperialists In 1901, Mark Twain wrote a parody of "The Battle Hymn of the Republic," which criticized American imperialism. The song, along with the events that inspired it, are eerily similar to our world today.

Twisted Neo-Con Values: That Henry VIII was one hell of a guy! One of my friends is a tour guide in the UK. Awhile ago, he told me about a proud Dubya supporter from Texas who remarked that Clinton "has the morals of a sex-starved alleycat," while Henry VIII was "a hell of a guy." WTF? I took a look at the lives of President Clinton and Henry VIII and am sharing what I found. You can decide who was a "hell of a guy."
