Deflation, Depression, Disaster
(1 comments) We may be witnessing the tip of a very real iceberg, one that could sink our economic ship for good. Americans may think that lower nominal prices through deflation are good, but if everyone is out of work it will no longer matter how much anything costs.

The Fallacy and Danger of Free Trade
(2 comments) "Free trade" is a zero sum game and the United States is losing. "Free trade" does not increase prosperity, welfare or general wealth. It simply creates winners and losers, and while some in our country have gotten rich the nation as a whole is falling further and further behind.

Obama's Plan Must Prevent Leaks, Keep Jobs at Home
(1 comments) President-elect Barack Obama has promised major action to stimulate jobs, spur economic growth and correct a generally battered system. The only way to achieve these goals is to ensure that government spending under his direction stays at home and does not flow overseas.
