Joe Bob

Joe Bob Blivit was born in Austin, Texas back when all TV was black-and-white. One of the first words he spoke as an infant was a brand of toothpaste that was often advertized on TV. A couple of decades later, when his current (color) TV went on the blink, he did not take the trouble to replace it, mainly because he is lazy, and has been living without one ever since.
