Thank You Professor Gates For Not Getting Lynched

I commend Harvard Professor Henry Louis Gates Jr., for not getting lynched by the Cambridge Police Department when his government issued papers were insufficient to prove that he is not a criminal. In another time, it could have turned out a lot differently.

King/Pharaoh Hatshepsut was an awesome lady ruler back in the days of Ancient Egypt. Her work is still standing in modern times.

Blacks In The Military - An Historic View
Images of President Barack Obama and his administration reviewing the troops on inauguration day showed how far this nation has traveled. Now that the military is once again in the hands of an African American (Jefferson, Jackson, Lincoln, Harding and Coolidge all had at least 5% African blood), it seems a good time to see some of the other contributions made by Blacks in the military.
