William Edelstein, Ph.D., received a BS in physics from the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign and a Ph.D. in the same subject from Harvard. His career has mainly involved work on MRI, beginning in the UK and continuing at GE Corporate R&D in Schenectady, NY from 1980-2001. He left GE in 2001, worked as an independent scientist and consultant for several years, and moved from Schenectady to a faculty position at the Johns Hopkins Medical School in Baltimore in 2007. He was on the Board of Directors of New Yorkers for Verified Voting from 2005-7 and now does volunteer work for SaveOurVotes in Maryland.
