They proved them wrong by finding me opportunities for special education. In this way, they also helped others like myself find education for their special needs. Their efforts made them champions in helping special children.
My Dad came from Ireland and worked as a plumber in the John Hancock buildings in Boston. He married the American-born daughter of a lady from Mayo and they had 5 children, including myself. My Dad died from asbestos related cancer, and my Mom died this January of congestive heart failure caused by diabetes. Their love and determination made us the family we are today.
I'm a college graduate and an administrative assistant with the Boston office of RSM McGladrey, a worldwide auditing, tax and business services company. I enjoy Celtic music and cutlure, I'm an avid soccer fan, especially with the New England Revolution, and I enjoy college sports.
I'm fluent in Spanish, and I know a little bit of Portugese, French, German & Italian. When I'm not surfing the net, you'll find me walking around town, going swimming or on my bike. During the summer, I love picking up empties off of the beach. It's not just giving me a steady income, but it's also a way to keep our environment from going to pot!
I enjoy watching sports on TV, but I also believe in excercising actively, instead of passively watching others. After all, exercise can save your life. I'm also into politics, since they helped out needy families like myself. And while I'm a Democrat, I'm also pro-life. After all, the right to life is the most important issue of them all. Without it, there's no other issues(housing, education, etc.).
And by the way, i've been against this war waged by Bush since 2002. You may not believe this, but he's a member of the Skull and Bones Society and hangs around Bohemian Grove every July worshipping a stone owl and participating in a "mock" cremation ceremony.
There's so much more that I haven't told you, but I will at a later date. For now, please enjoy my presence here. Slancito!
