One might say that writing has become my fondest passion; it is a love that always gives, and one that I feel comfortable sharing. I write because writing has become the voice in which I can speak to many people, share experiences, stories and truths. I have written a non-fiction book called "Born In The Wrong Country," which I recently published through lulu.com, and can be purchased through http://www.lulu.com/content/4920936, Barnesandnoble.com, Amazon.com and others.

I have lived and worked in New York City for just almost 37 years. I write because it is a very powerful way of spreading ideas, news and touching the human spirit. Writing can make one laugh, cry, smile, or it can enrage others when it presents truths, as it begins to enlighten people. Writing is like a photograph from the author's mind put into words.

An Apology, Not So Fast
The article addresses what is missing in the Senate's Apology Bill, by incorporating quotes from the author's book, "Born In The Wrong Country;" it states that a disclaimer, which doesn't address reparations, will not work. Simply put, the article is saying that this apology doesn't go far enough. It is inept way of constructing an apology for slavery, which is long overdue.

Sick of War or Becoming broke
(1 comments) What is America tired of: war with its destruction, mayhem and loss of lives, and how America became complacent, allowing the Bush administration to continue destroying. When money started dwindling and people became broke, that America started acting. Human life, as opposed to money, is what really changes the mood.

The Stimulus Plan, and Killing a Chimpanzee
This article is about how a cartoon is used; it shows two policemen shooting a chimpanzee and saying, "They'll have to find someone else to write the next stimulus bill." Indeed, this really is about the Stimulus Plan and President Barack Obama. First of all President Obama got his Stimulus Plan through the House and the Senate, and secondly, a woman was viciously mauled by a chimpanzee before it was shot and killed.
