The one issue about which I care more than others is economic fairness. I believe that all Americans deserve to live a decent life with some degree of economic security. I also think it's extremely unfair and counterproductive for the rich to buy our government and then impose an economic order which greatly increases their wealth while impoverishing everyone else. I am talking now about so-called "free trade" and the inevitable offshoring of American industries and jobs which come with it. f present trends continue, America will end up with a tiny sliver of people who are filthy rich and everyone else will be scrounging for a living. That's hardly conducive to a healthy society and economy.
