Born in St. Louis, Missouri Sept. 18, 1927. PhD in philosophy from University of Louvain, Belgium 1961. Research professor working on critical editions of William of Ockham and John Duns Scotus at St. Bonaventure University's Franciscan Institute 1973-1995. Retired as professor emeritus in 1995. Edited theological works of medieval Franciscan theologians: John Pecham, Roger Marston, Peter Sutton, Walter Chatton and presently working on critical editions of Francis of Marchia. Married in 1971. Three now adult children and five grandchildren
