Frank Munley

I am a retired physics professor. I have been concerned about the Palestinian-Israeli situation for years and have authored a number of op ed pieces on the subject, often in response to other pieces giving a distorted picture of the Middle East. As a citizen of the USA, I am concerned that my government is totally one-sided on the issue. I am also concerned specifically about global warming, and more generally about the foreign policy implications of continuing to use fossil fuels.

Bringing balance to the U.S. Senate's resolution on Gaza
(1 comments) The recent U.S. Senate resolution on the crisis in Gaza provides an opportunity to revisit crucial points in the history of the long and painful Israeli-Palestinian dispute. It will surprise no one that the U.S. Senate, like the House, is extremely biased in Israel's favor, with the mainstream media following suit. This kind of bias not helpful to Israelis, never mind Palestinians.
