I am a disabled 85 year old vet of WWII and obviously not interested in a career. Nevertheless I am compelled to share my thoughts with everyone. My analysis of the present situation is a result of a life as an activist. As a tribal elder they deserve some consideratiion.

Sovereignty Today giant corporations have taken our sovereignty from us. The Senate just passed an appropriations bill for $648,000,000,000 of our tax money for the defense department. This is nothing more than a funnel to the corporations.

$648,000,000,000 For Defense Don't you feel more secure now: knowing that your government is spending your money so wisely? I feel like a guy with ten Rolls Royce's who just bought a new car. Never mind that we have more war machines than the rest of the world put together.

The Mad Hatters never in my life have I felt more like Lewis Caroll’s Alice as she stepped into the mirror and entered Wonderland. It is not just that the corporations stole an election and gave us a mental defective for a president. It is a population that, pro or con, accepts the absurd idea that we are at war in Iraq.
