Patricia Dischler is the author of From Babysitter To Business Owner, Because I Loved You, and The Patty Cake Kids. She is a national speaker on issues of child care and adoption. She operated Patty Cake Preschool, a nationally accredited family child care business for over 17 years and is the recipient of the 2007 Wisconsin Governors Award for excellence in the field of child care. She is a board member of NAFCC and WFCCA and serves on the Wisconsin Early Learning Coalition. Through her many books, products and lectures, she strives to support the adults who care for the lives of children and provide them with the resources they need to make a difference.
