Mainstream Media Ignores Presidential Candidates Supported by One in Ten
(1 comments) CNN, along with every other mainstream news organization and media outlets, is ignoring that there is significant public support for these alternative candidates for President. The mainstream media dismiss this story as unimportant and not meriting coverage, just as they dismiss McKinney, Nader and Barr as serious candidates, as well as the chuck of the public who share similar perspectives with those candidates.

May Day: ILWU to Shut Down All West Coast Ports to Protest War - Union to Lead March & Rally in S. F.
(3 comments) The Longshore division of the ILWU will shut down all ports on the West Coast of the U. S. in protest of wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. The union issued a national call for May Day (May 1) to be a "No Peace, No Work" holiday. In S. F. the union will be leading a march and rally.
