Born and raised in CT, lived most of my life in NH. Married to a wonderful woman and have two great kids. I'm an Independent political animal and believe my government serves me, not the other way around! I did my time in the military in the 60's. My background is in Electrical Engineering and I have a strong interest in Amateur Radio (call letter, K1YPP), long distance hiking and bicycling, particularly mountain bike racing (New England Masters Champ, 2002). I attempted to hike the Appalachian Trail in May, 2007, but after 622 miles, came home for a six-artery heart bypass surgery. 300 days later, in 2008, I got back on the trail and finished the other 1,600 miles, you can read more about it at trailjournals.com/k1ypp .

Taxes or Ponzi?
(4 comments) Since the Reagan Administration the "cut taxes" mantra has been repeated until some actually believed it. Sadly, tax cuts for the wealthy are really more like a Ponzi scheme.
