Debunking "The false ideology that caused our financial failure"
In his article, "The false ideology that caused our financial failure", Ed Martin attempts to blame our present economic problems on the nonexistent free market. Ignoring the fact that the problems were caused by government interference in the economy, a fact that can't be stressed enough. Markets can recover from this interference if left alone.

Most moderates are happy, most radicals are upset, some to the point of leaving the party. Sen. Gravel Tries to Make Government Work
(5 comments) Former Sen. Mike Gravel, a contender for the Libertarian party presidential nomination, is a supporter of the National Initiative for Democracy. This legislation would give the people the power to make laws, bypassing congress. While advocated, no doubt, with the best of intentions this is precisely the prescription for dictatorship that the Founders warned us against.
