Jan Elise Sells, M.Ed, M.A, M.F.T, is the author of the recently published "LOST and FOUND: HEALING TROUBLED TEENS IN TROUBLED TIMES". In 1986 she started a program of crisis intervention and conflict resolution at Martin Luther King Middle School in Berkeley, CA, which is still going strong and is the model for similar programs in the other two middle schools in Berkeley. In 2006, upon her retirement from King, she was honored by the city as Outstanding Woman of Berkeley for her "Devotion to Berkeley families and children". Ms. Sells teaches courses at U.C.
