Speeches or Solutions
In a letter to Hillary Clinton, we might muse. Was this a speech or a solution? After more than a year of harsh criticism from you Senator Clinton, might the chasm within the Party and this country be too great to counter in a single speech, particularly one that did not address the countless serious concerns you, yourself raised for so long.

The Clinton Factor
The undecided voters were no longer in the shadows. The seven, eleven, or fourteen percent, the unpersuadables who either decline to state a preference, or have not yet determined whether they could, or would support the presumptive nominees, Barack Obama or John McCain, were there. They stood at the door of the Arena. It was Thursday afternoon, August 21, 2008. Everyone in line waited to see Hillary Clinton in Boca Raton.

America is One of Three
The United States is one of three countries that refuses to support a United Nations resolution that would abolish all nuclear weapons. Former Secretary's of State George P. Schultz and Henry A. Kissinger, former Secretary of Defense William J. Perry, and Senator Sam Nunn, warn us. Yet, Americans ignore the cautions. We build 150,000 more atomic bombs, and promote nuclear power. Each kills. Might we ponder nuclear power.
