Stu Steinberg is a retired public defender, law school educator and capital defense investigator. He served for eighteen months in Vietnam as an explosive ordnance disposal specialist and was decorated for heroism, meritorious achievement in combat, gallantry and wounds received in action. He lives with his wife, Mona, and their horses and dogs in the Central Oregon high desert.

ACCORDING TO BUSH: THE CONSTITUTION IS “JUST A GODDAMN PIECE OF PAPER.”
The President has violated the Foreign Intelligence Suveillance Act. The US Supreme Court has held that the President does not have either constitutional or inherent powers to order domestic surveillance without a warrant, even when national security might be involved.
