Was the Brexit Vote "Good for the Jews"? It is no surprise that on both sides of the Atlantic, tribal media from all persuasions responded to the surprising Brexit vote with the Jewish mother's question, "is it good for us?" Robert Parry writes in Consortium News, that the June 23 Brexit vote to exit the EU by the margin of 52% to 48%, could be good news for the powerless.

It's Still The Occupation, Stupid Muslim hatred and bigotry, now so prominent in our post-Orlando era, is rooted in that occupation. Respect for domestic and international law cannot be restored without ending that occupation. Justice for all demands the end of that occupation. Start by naming its name in the 2016 Democratic party platform.

Clinton Needs Only 199 Supers to Win Nomination Sanders' final, and almost futile hope, is to keep Clinton from adding at least, her necessary 199 unpledged delegates to her current delegate total. For Sanders to "flip" promissory unpledged votes relies entirely on his argument that he would be the better candidate against the Republican nominee, Donald Trump.

Sanders' Dream Team, The Platform and Palestine Sanders did not suddenly gain his "new power." A candidate still in the race for the nomination, with earned delegates, is entitled to an allocated percentage of committee seats. Contrary to the Post, Sanders was not "given unprecedented say over the Democratic Party platform." He earned those committee seats by winning delegates.

United Methodists Answer: "What Does It Profit?" This year the Methodists went back to their Jim Crow roots and voted by a huge majority to increase Methodist dollars within Israeli settlements through the profits of three U.S. corporations. Not a very pleasant thought: Clergy retirement funds underwriting an illegal military occupation.

He became IDF Deputy Chief of General Staff in December 2014. In his speech, he said, "Woe to us if we lose our way from our hallowed values that have accompanied us for generations. Hillary's "Miracle in the Desert" Is Bad Decision Clinton or Trump? Clinton has far more experience and is no stranger to how Washington and the world work. She is the clear choice. But we have to encourage her to stop with the bad judgment calls. Clinton is virtually certain to win the Democratic nomination. She certainly has made her case for her support for Israel to her Jewish funders and voters for the general election. That box has been checked many times.

"Supine Compliance with Israel's Narrative" With her focus already on reelection in 2020, Clinton will have to remind her good friend Bibi Netanyahu that she would like to raise his annual military budget another billion or so. But, she would have to say, "Sorry Bibi. You know I still have these Sanders people watching me. If I am not careful, they will be back in 2020 with Bernie or someone else threatening my quest to serve eight-years."

Hawkish Hillary Clinton Prefers the Big Stick Now that Sanders is essentially out of the nomination race, Clinton has no one pushing her leftward. That push will have to come from progressives who will need to do their pushing in the General Election campaign through public and social media. Voices for peace will be heard.

"It Was The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down" On the international scene, Israel hides behind its ancient biblical name to build and sustain a military dictatorship which occupies and controls another people, not like them. Israel has its loyalists hidden within our institutions to promote the myth of its goodness, which disguises its quest for power. We are easily seduced.

Secretary Clinton's Big Money Burden Both Clinton and her husband, former President Bill Clinton, have many wealthy donor friends who obviously benefit her campaign coffers and their Clinton Foundation. Vulnerabilities Tested As Clinton Keeps Winning Assuming Clinton has locked up her party's nomination, she could not have asked for a better sparring partner than Sanders to prepare her for her main bout in November. Sanders, of course, still believes he would be a better nominee than Clinton. He plans to continue to persuade voters to give him that responsibility. Questions From Israel: How and Why Trump? Will a Clinton-Trump November race produce a winning establishment candidate named Clinton, or will passion provoked by fears produce a winner named Trump? That is a question to ponder. There are still primaries and caucuses and two conventions ahead before we reach November 8. On that date, voters must decide who best to lead this nation in a time when so many are gripped in a "quiet dread."

Trump Success Born and Raised In Fear and Hate Donald Trump has emerged as an even more threatening nightmare to both political parties. It is a nightmare which will only grow in intensity.
