The Twin Frankenstein Monsters Created by Congress
While some would describe the control takeover of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac by the US Congress as a rescue for the country's economy, it is really a situation of these 2 entities being taken back by their actual "parent" in an attempt to curtail the mess that their existence has caused.

Return to the Consitution?!?

Merely returning the US government to one of a strict Constitutional interpretation will not eliminate the many and serious existing problems in the US. The flaws in that document, revered though it rightly can be considered for its place in history, make it the cause of many of those problems and incapable of providing a basis for a stable ordered society of maximally free and happy individuals.
