Joyce A. Kramer Bio
Ms. Kramer has over 25 years of experience in organizational development, communications, and public relations. She was a teacher of English for 25 years, directed and coordinated political and fund raising campaigns, and served as development director for two HIV/AIDS nonprofit organizations, where she organized and implemented major events. She directed all aspects of public relations campaigns, including television, radio, print media relationships, and in-house publications. Throughout her varied career, she has published many articles and commentaries and has extensive experience in editing, researching, writing, and documenting various projects and publications.
For the past 10 years, she has consulted on projects for the United Nations, global organizations, and global consortiums that have utilized her expertise in designing and implementing mass communication strategies, media advocacy campaigns, and writing and editing for a variety of audiences.
Ms. Kramer recently published Invisible No More: The Secret Lives of Women Over 50 and Saving the Best for Last: Creating Our Lives After 50 with two co-authors. In marketing the book, she has generated and participated in over 50 television and radio appearances, as well as many print media interviews.
Ms. Kramer holds a BS (magna cum laude) in English and Psychology and a Master's Degree with post graduate courses in education, English, psychology, and computer
science.
