A RACKETEERNG INFLUENCED CORRUPT ORGANIZATION FRONTED BY A CHURCH IS SUBJECT TO PROSECUTION UNDER (RICO)
Over time so called religious orders have committed crimes against humanity for which no recourse is available. However under the RICO statute a church an be defined as a Racketeering Corrupt Organization which allows private prosecution. (3 comments) Amazingly a precedent has been established in the UK to tax Mormon Temples because they do not serve the purpose of providing a place for public worship. In a carefully worded decision British authorities denied tax exemption in 2008. The author suggests that the Mormon Temple scam be shown for what it is and that local tax assessors look to the argument made in the UK in order to recover tax in the US and else where.
