Obama and “The Hope-a-Dope”
President Obama earned the presidency by being an excellent politician and plugging into the hopes and aspirations of the American people's desire for systemic change. The people wanted our nation to go into another direction diametrically opposed to the dark days of President George W.s Bush's misrule. Obama's actions exhibit much less change than many hoped. In short, those who voted Obama have been Hope-a-Doped.
