Libby Shaw has been a political activist since a college student in the 1970's. She is a proud, life long progressive Democrat who was born in NYC, lived in the Midwest, Seattle and now resides in Houston, TX where she works as an administrator for a scientific laboratory at a private academic institution. Shaw has one child, a recent college grad who lives and works in Washington, D.C. Her husband is a college professor. Hobbies include blogging, travel, non-fiction reading and politics, politics, politics. Shaw write for progressive blogs in Texas, mostly Texas Kaos and sometimes The Burnt Orange Report.
