Medical Errors and the Litigious Patient
Those innocent victims of healthcare error should not have to give away the right to trial by jury just because some insurance company claims that it is losing too much money. The medical system causes hundreds of thousands of deaths each year, and the best way to reduce the cost of healthcare is to reduce the cost of treating those injuries, not taking away the rights of the injured victims.
