I have been an independent, 'progressive' journalist for about a decade now, after having worked in both the US and Canadian corporate media for 15 years. I'm happy to report that I now work for a public broadcaster. I became an "activist" while researching a screenplay in which I attempted to examine the main factors underlying the Madness of the world in which we live.

I enjoyed the veritable Renaissance of unhindered web activism and organization, before the Plants arrived, circa 2000. I first became aware of this meddling when I stumbled upon an article on the global Independent Media Centre website attributed to Russian film-maker, Sergei Eisenstein, which questioned who I am (by name), and made several false statements about me.

I became a critic of the Israeli Government after I made an off-handed comment about a specific Israeli policy in one of my articles, and was similarly attacked as an "antisemite" by supporters of the Israeli Government - who always seem to 'know just a bit too much' about me. Since then, I seem to have attracted a Plant, which pops up wherever I go on the web. At first, I found this very off-putting, but now, I look at it as an affirmation that what I'm doing is having an effect, and scares the SH*T out of the right people!

The IAEA has found nothing suspicious or threatening about the "secret" Iranian facility at Qom, contradicting the hysterical claims made by the politicians trying to lie/frighten us into another senseless war, and the press that's helping them.

Solidarity, Not Charity, for the People of Gaza
(1 comments) I have yet to see any coverage of this voyage, especially on this, Human Rights Day, in any of the Western press. If you have seen any, could you kindly provide a link?

"Free Gaza Is A Cool Idea"
Regev's statement is an attempt to 'poo-poo" the group, and downplay the fact that its successes have hilighted the illegality and illegitimacy of Israel's policy. His reference to the "Taliban" - the media's term for the entire Afghan Resistance - plays on the public's mistaken belief that Afghanistan is a "just war", as opposed to just a war, motivated by the self-interest and arrogance of its architects.

The Crash: The Plot Thickens
(7 comments) In recent days, a possible motive for the current financial crisis has been suggested by the crisis' own architects themselves.
