Ok. I admit it. I'm not really a cow, except in an alternate reality. But wearing a cowsuit has gotten me attention where normally no one would have given me the time of day, for instance, at a Democratic convention in Columbus, of the "inner circle" types, we were outside handing out fliers on the dangers of electronic voting. The attendees were really trying to avoid us as we stood near their path handing them our literature, but for me, in the cow suit, they wanted their pictures made with arms around me. And they took my fliers. Cows in Ohio are cute, cuddly, and totally harmless. Unlike voting machines. moo.

Re-counting the Toilet-Paper Audit Trail in Ohio Ohio has a shiny new post-election audit. It still has a few "bugs" to be worked out and it will be as good an example of a way to catch fraud after the fact as any devised. Problem is, voters AREN'T verifying the "voter-verified paper audit trail"! Is trying to fix a riggable system after the fact really what we want in our election system??

I Watched the Bodies Fall from the Towers Last Night Watching the You-Tube videos of people jumping from the World Trade Center Towers gave me unexpected insight on why some of us are conspiracy theorists and some are not. Why can some people believe that evil leaders in our own government were complicit in the attacks--and in fraudulent elections--while others place their hands over their ears and close their eyes and refuse even to look at the evidence?

Wisdom from the Asphalt Jesus: How to Survive on Creek Water The writer interviews an apparently "homeless" man, who for several years has walked across the country, making friends and sharing his opinions on politics and social conditions. Oddly enough, he has much to teach us about survival and sharing with others as more and more of us become the working, and non-working, poor in this corporate controlled environment of greed.

WORLD PROUT CONFERENCE: no incense, but some are incensed I attended the World PROUT Conference in Radford VA; we provided the only panel and workshop on "Preventing Unwanted Presidences: Stopping the Fraud in 2008." Only a handful attended our presentations, but Uncounted, the DVD, was well-attended, and we got the word out by flyers, sign-up sheets, and snippets of conversation. Election fraud can be ignored if you don't mind working your progressive ideas with unelected officals!

How to Do an Exit Poll For those who have ever done or considered doing a citizens' exit poll for the Nov. 2008 election, here is what we learned from doing a BIG one in eight counties in Ohio on Primary Day. It's good to know what to expect from your County Boards of Election and from local precinct judges. This is a companion piece to "Was there Election machine fraud in Franklin County, Ohio, Primary Day?". Recallvotingmachines.com for a handbook

Was there Election Machine Fraud in Franklin County in the Ohio Primary? Was there Election Machine Fraud in Franklin County in the Ohio Primary, favoring Clinton? The evidence from a comprehensive citizens' exit poll on March 4, 2008, suggests just that. Look at the evidence yourself and decide. One thing is certain: citizens need to be allowed not only to poll at the door of polling places, but also to do audits and recounts in this pseudo-Democracy.

Citizens Exit Polling at the PA Primary--Paperless DRE's, oh my! We traveled from Central Ohio and exit polled at Penn State (GO Nittany Lions, whatever they are!)for the Primary on April 22. We took in about 1600 surveys from the students who had just voted at the "HUB," or student union building, many first time voters. Paddy Shaffer interviewed and videoed students who had a problem with not being registered. We were providing the ONLY paper trail, since PA is 90% PAPERLESS DRES!!

A Quaint Story about How We Used to Have Democratic Elections But when this SC voter said,"I remember when we used to hand-count all the ballots;I was the Dem. Party Precinct Committeeperson..,"my ears perked up and I asked if I could interview her later that night. This was not hard since she was my own sister,Carol Creech, and I was staying at her house,on my way from OH to FL.Here is the story she told me, as we sat on the couch in the living room, with several cats draped around us.

Florida Voters Sign Sworn Statements as to How They Voted Citizen exit polls! There's a new concept!Citizens who care most about checking on the honesty and accuracy of the official election results can conduct their own polls.Since the highly questionable election of 2004, a few citizens' election integrity groups have been conducting exit polls here and there in several states across the country, for instance, in CA, FL, OH, and PA, to name the ones that I know of personally.

Exit Polls in SC We are now collecting volunteers on recallvotingmachines dot com. We will be more than willing to share contact info with ANY legitimate EI group doing exit polling. That's what it's all about, sharing resources. There will be sample EI surveys up soon, that could be tailored for each state. Mark Adam's website has the forms they are using in FL for the Primary.
