Earth Is In Its 6th Extinction Cycle And Humans Are An Endangered Species!

There is a brutal reality facing humanity; scientists have known it and released evidence that indicates earth is in its sixth extinction cycle as far back as 1993, but political and financial pressure have driven these dire predictions into obscurity while planet Earth continues to falter and succumb to the greed and power of international corporations and the corruption of our own politicians here and abroad. LINK Events which have transpired in the past few days are so troubling that if not reversed, all but guarantees the eventual extinction of humanity along with thousands of other species - and we can blame it on the “New World Order” of international corporatism that now rules our lives rather then individual governments.

Earth is complicated and is itself, a living and breathing entity that sustains itself through checks and balances that humanity is destroying, now at such an elevated pace that if something isn’t accomplished on a global basis, now and not tomorrow, humanity is all but guaranteed to go the way of the dinosaurs by our own hand, not Mother Nature’s; even with drastic reduction of airborne pollutants throughout the world, we may be able to put off the inevitable, but ensuring our survival as a species appears to be past the point of no-return! (In this author’s opinion.)

The lungs of the planet that supply our oxygen and absorb carbon are found throughout the planet in old growth forests and rain-forests that are essential to our survival, the largest of which are in South America. The rainforest’s have been acknowledged as the “lungs of the planet”, and now the largest rainforest in the world is being ravaged by corporations, and the champion of saving those forests has admitted defeat and quit fighting to save what’s left of the most important sources of oxygen, water, and is the largest carbon-sink on the Earth:

I give up, says Brazilian minister who fought to save the rainforest

By Daniel Howden, Deputy Foreign Editor
Thursday, 15 May 2008

Brazil has been accused of turning its back on its duty to protect the Amazon after the resignation of its award-winning Environment Minister fueled fresh fears over the fate of the forest. The departure of Marina Silva, who admitted she was losing the battle to get green voices heard amidst the rush for economic development, has been greeted with dismay by conservationists.

The Latin American giant’s supposed progress on environmental protection has unraveled in the past year as revelations of record levels of deforestation, violent land disputes and runaway forest fires have followed in quick succession. The worldwide boom in agricultural commodities has created an unparalleled thirst for land and energy in Brazil, and the result has been a potentially catastrophic land grab into the world’s largest remaining rainforest. The Amazon basin is home to one in 10 of the world’s mammals and 15 per cent of its land-based plant species. It holds more than half of the world’s fresh water and its vast forests act as the largest carbon sink on the planet, providing a vital check on the greenhouse effect.

Since President Lula won a second term Ms Silva found herself a lone voice in a government acutely aware that its own political future depended on the vast agribusiness interests she was trying to rein in. The final breakdown in her relationship with the President came after he gave the green light to massive road and dam-building projects in the Amazon basin, and a plan she drafted for the sustainable management of the region was taken from her and handed to a business-friendly fellow minister. When you understand that carbon dioxide in our atmosphere is at the highest level in 655,000 years, the above article takes on the significance it should, and yes, this is a development that will speed-up global warming and add to a situation that in a gross understatement, is threatening all forms of life on planet earth:

World carbon dioxide levels highest for 650,000 years, says US report

David Adam, environment correspondent
The Guardian, Tuesday May 13 2008

The concentration of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere has reached a record high, according to the latest figures, renewing fears that climate change could begin to slide out of control.

Scientists at the Mauna Loa observatory in Hawaii say that CO2 levels in the atmosphere now stand at 387 parts per million (ppm), up almost 40% since the industrial revolution and the highest for at least the last 650,000 years.

The figures, published by the US National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration on its website, also confirm that carbon dioxide, the chief greenhouse gas, is accumulating in the atmosphere faster than expected. The annual mean growth rate for 2007 was 2.14ppm - the fourth year in the last six to see an annual rise greater than 2ppm. From 1970 to 2000, the concentration rose by about 1.5ppm each year, but since 2000 the annual rise has leapt to an average 2.1ppm. MORE

I am nothing more than a patriotic American that is doing whatever I can to further the cause of democracy, the rule of law, and am absolutely outraged on how the Bush administration is defying our Congress, the Constitution, and the Bill of Rights! Footnote: I write in a style that I believe is appropriate in today's world where we can't trust the Mainstream News Media, and rather than concentrating on one article alone, which may or may not receive the exposure and emphasis it should, I prefer to meld several relevant stories together, that each taken alone may not expose the entire situation, but when taken-in as a whole, tend to give the reader a better understanding of the subject. One article or story alone does not represent the "Big Picture" - but when several are effectively tied-together it often reveals a trend or broader view of the subject matter that is important to completely understand any given situation. http://justanothercoverup.com/

The way of the world

We can hope that those who did it are the first to go, but they've probably already built their well-stocked, generator-powered underground bunkers, so when the Earth regenerates itself again their progeny can rule.

Rule over what or whom, I don't know; that'll be their problem.

MONEY CONTROLS POLITICIANS THAT CONTROLS LAWS THAT

EFFECT THE PLANET'S RESOURCES.......

therefore we must stop the power of corporate money and individual's

stranglehold of the political winner's circle.

Public funding of elections only! Otherwise we will continue down the

path of doom for any chance of democracy, rather than a republic

of the few, by the few, and for the few.

Bees & Pollination

Just wanted to let you know that here in South Georgia I have had a Cherry Tree that I have been nursing for about 4 years, now.  This year, it was COVERED in blooms.  Cherries.  Not a one!  No pollination, no fruit.

Changing the "dominator story"

All of what we're talking about starts in the overlying value system that we are all 'trained' to participate in--and that's the 'dominator story'...dominate or be dominated.  This story/value system has evolved over the last 5000 years--and it impacts every system we have--marriage (men over women), families, communities (rich over poor, white over black) such that the 'corporate CEO's' who are part of pushing the world to its limits in the name of profits--actually believe they are doing the right thing. And, based on the 'dominator value' system--they are and that is why they continue to do it.

This 'dominator' value is so pervasive no one even sees it--its is accepted as the "way things are"....but the thing is--its just a story and stories can be changed. The new story is outlined in Riane Eisler's work, "The Real Wealth of Nations--creating a caring economics". In this book, she exposes the dominator story and shows how we change the value system to one of 'caring'--for humans and the planet--and create a new economic system she's titled "Partnerism"....

There are solutions--but as Buckminster Fuller said--

You never change things by fighting the existing reality. To change something, build a new model that makes the existing model obsolete.

Let's stop fighting the existing reality. Let's build a new model--and in this process we can heal ourselves and the planet

Grow Hemp!

Hemp is by far the #1 Source of biomass on the planet. It grows without most fertilizers, herbicides, or pesticides to foul the soil and water, in climates and conditions other crops won't grow.  One acre of hemp equals four of timber for pulp, and you harvest it every year, tree's can take a lifetime. It is many times more efficient than corn, kenaf, sugar cane, or any other plant being proposed for ethanol. That's why you won't hear anything about it.

Anything made from oil, coal, timber, or cotton can be made with it. Paper, plastics, packaging, fuels, textiles, lubricants, plywood, structural components, insulations, cosmetics, medicines, health foods, and more, over 25,000 known products according to a Popular Mechanics article in 1938. From cellophane to dynamite. Henry Ford built and fueled a car primarily with it. The cellulose plastic panels ten times stronger than steel. Synthetic plastics were developed from cellulose technology. Neither Ford or Diesel intended to run their engines with petroleum. Think what we could do with today's technology. Cellulose plastics could be ground up and used as fertilizer.

The cannabis hemp seed is the single most nutritious thing you can eat. The ancient Persians called it "Sahadanag" meaning "Royal Grain." Our Government stockpiles it as a srategic food source under Executive order #12919, yet it's illegal for you and I to buy. However, we can now buy hemp seed oil or strerilized seeds. It is a leading source of essential fatty acids. The lack of EFA's in our diet are a contributing factor to many of the current diseases within our society. This seed when utilized will help to end world hunger.

All mammals, birds, fish, and reptiles have cannabinoid receptors throughout their body that work independent of those that control the heart and breathing, which is why cannabis cannot kill you. It's non-toxic to your system. It is the safest medicine known to man. In Canada and Europe THC has been proven to destroy tumors, promote the growth of brain cells, and prevent Alzheimers. In fact it is being used to treat Alzheimers, MS, epilepsy, autism, chronic pain, arthritis, migraine, depression, diabetes, asthma, emphysema, lupus, cystic fibrosis, OCD, ADHT, herpes, skin disorders, glaucoma, nausea, obesity, alcoholism, Parkinsons, Huntingtons, Tourettes, Crohn's disease, and more. However, here in the U.S.A. our FDA only demonizes it and plays games with the minds of the American people.

Currently to the Canadians delight the United States is the only major nation that does not grow industrial hemp. China is growing 40% of the worlds crop and they are developing new technology for plastics, paper, textiles, and more that will surely keep the U.S.A. at a disadvantage for years, as if we already aren't. The Chinese have been growing it for thousands of years, since the beginnings of civilization. The United States was also founded with it's help. The sails on Columbus' ships were of hemp cloth. Canvas is Dutch for cannabis. It was legal to pay taxes with it in Colonial America, you could be jailed for refusing to grow it. The early Pioneers wagons were covered with it. Betsy Ross' flag was of hemp. The original draft of the Constitution was written on hemp paper. The War of 1812 was fought over hemp. The list goes on and on.

Hemp re-industrialization in the U.S.A. will create millions of Earth friendly jobs from the farm to the laboratory, begin a redistribution of wealth, and promote social harmony. It will provide affordable health care, nutrition, cleaner fuels, Spirituality, Unity, and much, much more. It will change the way we live! Cannabis hemp is illegal because billionaires want to remain billionaires and they own the media!

Food, fuel, shelter, medicine, pleasure, spirituality, Unity!

Kaneh bosm, cannabis, haoma, hemp, taima, etc, etc......!!!

GARRY , WE NEED MORE HEMP AND MORE HUMP!

I am with you brother. Let's get the US on the hemp, even if it means that

the stupid lumber companies can not charge an arm and a leg for their

paper pulp. That is why they passed the darn laws against hemp, to

appease some big corporate firms. Sounds like that could ever be the truth?

Wolfie knows the score, all four score and ten!
