Headlined on 10/31/07:
If America Is To Have A Future, We Must Elect A President That Speaks For The People

Most of the candidates running for President on both sides of the isle are attempting to be “politically correct” – and those that aren’t are marginalized, ignored, and slandered because they speak the truth rather than being “politically correct.” Americans, if they wish to save their economy, the constitutional guarantees of free speech and “liberty and justice for all”, and possibly their lives as President Bush spews rhetoric alluding to World War III – need to forget political correctness and listen to the facts, not the tap-dancing of Hillary Clinton, who by virtue of her wealth and her husbands popularity, is the front-runner of the Democratic Party.

Each and every citizen needs to ask themselves how “politically correct” is it that over 3,839 of our troops have been sacrificed in Iraq, and over a million Iraqis have lost their lives at an expense to the American taxpayer that tops $464,105,205,910 – and still, no end is in sight. In fact, if we remain “politically correct”, there’s a growing possibility that we will attack Iran and possibly enrage China and Russia – which could bring on World War III – a matter that the Presidency appears to brush-off as an “acceptable risk.”

Many Americans have come to understand they can’t trust the Mainstream News Media and have instead turned to alternative news sources such as Op-Ed News, BuzzFlash, and Raw Story; they also seek the truth and facts by reading the many political Bloggers that are stirring-up the political landscape by daring to be truthful and offer commentary that is insightful and defies being politically correct, but even among the Blogs – the stench of “political correctness” and marginalizing candidates they don’t care for is apparent, and today I’m taking specific aim at The Huffington Post – one of America’s best-funded and most popular Blogs.

This morning, on The Huffington Post’s main page, which is now in the political section, there’s a blaring headline that states: SHOTS FIRED The political page leads into an article that describes the recent Presidential debate and shows the pictures of the debaters – which is misleading on its face. The Huffington Post posted great photos of Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, John Edwards, and Christopher Dodd – but there were six (6) Presidential candidates attempting to take part in the debate, and The Huffington Post coincidentally left-out photos of Dennis Kucinich and Governor Bill Richardson, who were also present and were largely ignored even during the debate itself. At one point Dennis Kucinich interjected: “Is this a debate here?” Governor Bill Richardson also threw up his hands in despair and exchanged glances with Dennis Kucinich, according to The Huffington Post – and how can we blame them for expressing their frustration in attending a Democratic debate where they were almost completely ignored?

Where Are Kucinich and Richardson?

Why did The Huffington Post add to the marginalizing of Presidential Candidates by leaving out two of their photos on a front page “splash” that was intended to show the debaters? To me, the photo-spread by innuendo indicates the other two candidates are and were immaterial to the debate – and because of who the questions were directed to – the debate was skewed to only represent those candidates which are the frontrunner’s. If the Democratic Presidential Debates ignore viable candidates which have also entered the race, how are we to have a fair analysis of the candidates themselves?

Speaking of being politically correct, yesterday Dennis Kucinich dropped all pretenses of being politically correct and questioned President Bush’s mental stability LINK – which was addressed by Republican National Committee spokesman Dan Ronayne who stated that it was hard to take Kucinich seriously. LINK The Huffington Post also ran an article on Mr. Kucinich’s questioning of Bush’s mental health – and much to their discredit, they failed to mention other stories that have been available on the Internet since 2005 that have also questioned Bush’s sanity; if a lone Blogger like me has access to that information, especially in consideration that it ran throughout the Internet in an article that I republished yesterday, I can only surmise that it was “politically incorrect” to point out that The Commander in Chief may be suffering from severe mental disturbances that the public has the right to know about, and they could have reinforced Mr. Kucinich’s position by publishing or linking to those allegations, but for reasons of their own, they choose to ignore the facts and left Mr. Kucinich standing on his own!

For those who are interested, read these stories and make up your own minds:

Has Bush gone over the edge?

Even Bush’s Crap Is Classified Top Secret

The second article has to make us wonder what President Bush is taking in regard medication or other substances that is obviously “Top Secret” – however on this matter we can only speculate, as no concrete evidence other than the secrecy of the President’s fecal and urine are in evidence, but it does raise questions, and I believe those questions should be addressed.

I’ve attempted to keep my writing factual and non-partisan, and have pointed out the Democrats have also betrayed America since the 2006 Mid-term elections LINK, LINK, but I am totally miffed as to why when one or two candidates are attempting to impeach an obvious warmonger, Dick (Darth Vader) Cheney, and Dennis Kucinich is relentlessly attempting to save our nation from another war by bringing forth real issues that affect our economy as well as our survival as a nation, that he is in sixth place in the race of Democratic Presidential candidates. The only assumption I can make is that money talks, and those that have raised the most money are always being highlighted by the news and even certain Blogs, but those that support our troops and are attempting to ward-off another illegal war are essentially ignored!

The time for being “politically correct” is over. If we wish to save our Democracy and stave-off another war, it’s high-time that we listen to the facts and look deep within ourselves; do we want another glitzy President that once in office ignores the will of the people, or do we want someone that is attempting to save our nation from disaster, and in this writer’s opinion, Dennis Kucinich appears to be that candidate!

I am nothing more than a patriotic American that is doing whatever I can to further the cause of democracy, the rule of law, and am absolutely outraged on how the Bush administration is defying our Congress, the Constitution, and the Bill of Rights! Footnote: I write in a style that I believe is appropriate in today's world where we can't trust the Mainstream News Media, and rather than concentrating on one article alone, which may or may not receive the exposure and emphasis it should, I prefer to meld several relevant stories together, that each taken alone may not expose the entire situation, but when taken-in as a whole, tend to give the reader a better understanding of the subject. One article or story alone does not represent the "Big Picture" - but when several are effectively tied-together it often reveals a trend or broader view of the subject matter that is important to completely understand any given situation. http://justanothercoverup.com/

Be Unconventional

Now is the time to be daring and do what most people do not expect to be done. The MSM is banking that you will vote on who they predict to win. That is why they are calling the race for Hillary. Hillary is the best bet for president in 2008 out of all the Democratic candidates---for them that is. As for the American people, Dennis Kucinich is. He has the policies. He has the courage and passion. And he has the drive and ambition to relentlessly bring up the issue of impeachment, defending our Constitution, and recreating ourselves in the realm of foreign policy.

His proposed doctrine of Strength Through Peace his radical but radical is needed in a world where realist ideology and religious dogmatism create wars and conflicts all over the globe.

By the way, only Dennis Kucinich has the balls to admit honestly to the American people that he saw a UFO and just be done with it. The other candidates would have dodged and said that's irrelevant. But Dennis realizes we must get past Shirley MacLaine's claims before we can move forward with his campaign. And that's the sign of a true leader---one who puts the nation before his reputation.

In re: UFO's

The matter of seeing a UFO never concerned me; our own Air Force pilots have reported them, commercial passenger jet plots have reported them almost since they began flying, and then - to top it off, there's this:

Jimmy Carter’s UFO Close Encounter
Buck Wolf, ABCNEWS.com
When a President Says He’s Seen a UFO, You Really Have to Wonder if the Truth Is Out There. President Carter filed two formal reports when he was governor of Georgia describing his observation of an unidentified flying object to organizations that collect and promote UFO sightings as unexplained phenomena. President . . . ?

It would be nice to have a single respresentative who represents the interests of his electorate rather than the interests of Israel.

But then I suppose that's the price we pay for the price Israel pays our representatives from the price we pay Israel every year, if you see what I mean . . . (sigh)

Joel is right

Good point, Bill (referring to your article, not the comment above), but an honest man can't (won't) occupy the oval office very long and we all know it. I was about to say "I don't have a remedy or a recipe" or a fix but then I re-read Joel's article titled Voting as Political Narcotic and Dr. Weiner's A "Two-Headed Party," and the Power of a Dime ....or more importantly, Richard's comments on Bernie's article.

It's that bad. Yes indeed. And Joel is right.

Evil Inc.

If I did not know better, and I don't. I would think that who or whom, is running this country has setup our elections to include only the brain dead in both parties.  That would explain both Kucinich and Gravel being left out.  As far as Bush is concerned I think he has been on brain support for at least 7 years or so.  I have also read rumors concerning his possible stroke 4 years ago.  Either way he does not belong in office but Cheney must go first.  It is fairly obvious that someone ot something is controlling the government and my best guess would be the military industrial complex.  After all they are the ones getting exceedingly rich and profiting from the Iraqi war.  This the only way I can explain the dumb actions of Congress in relation to any issues concerning the administration and the Iraq war.  If we new exactly who these comanies were we could boycott their products but I am afraid they may have control of most of the products we use.  Who ya' gonna call?

It would be great if we could boycott the MIC but we can't because we don't go shopping for arms and missile systems on a daily basis.

What we can do is to boycott the election.

The system is rigged, the parties bought and paid for.

Boycotting

Tony,  I guess I should have better explained my boycott.  The MIC has grown so large that it owns many of the companies that we buy our everyday products from(ie General Electric).  As far as boycotting the election I do not think that would be wise.  If we do not vote then the wrong people will win.  It would be better to vote against them(maybe vote independant or write-in).  Either way it is a damned if you do or damned if you don't situation, but voting at least gets you registered as objecting to the known evil ones.
