In a not too subliminal message to world leaders from the Rockefellers, in selecting Putin as Man of the Year, Time lauded Putin for choosing stability over freedom. In other words, this is how you control a country: curtail freedom and control the press. Time
The CEO and Chairman of Time Warner is Richard Parsons who is also on the board at Citigroup. Parsons is the grandson of a black grounds keeper who worked on the Rockefeller Estate.
Time Warner also owns AOL, CNN, HBO, Court TV, New York News, Fortune, Life, Sports Illustrated, Entertainment Weekly, Popular Science, Mad Magazine, 49% of the Internet service in China, and a long list of other media enterprises. Parsons served as a member of Governor Nelson Rockefeller's legal staff and followed Rockefeller to DC when Nelson was appointed VP under Gerald Ford. During this time, Parsons met and became friends with Giuliani who was an aid for Deputy Attorney General Harold R. Tyler. Parons later supported Giuliani’s run for mayor of NY.
Whoa! Hold it right there. Parsons works for Rockefeller. Pasrons meets Giuliani. Giuliani becomes mayor of New York. It is starting to sound like the mayor of New York is appointed more than elected.
Parsons was appointed to the board at Time Warner on the recommendation of Laurance Rockefeller. Richard's home was on the Rockefeller Estate for many years. His office is in Rockefeller Center. He is chairman emeritus of the Partnership for New York City, established by David Rockefeller in 1979. He is a trustee of the family's principal philanthropy, the Rockefeller Brothers Fund and he sits with David Rockefeller on the board of the World Trade Center Memorial Foundation.
George W. Bush selected Parsons to co-chair a commission on Social Security. Parsons also worked on the transition team for Michael Bloomberg. There’s another New York mayor. In 2006, Parsons was selected to co-chair the transition team for the incoming Governor of New York, Eliot Spitzer. The governor too? Parsons is expected to become mayor of NY in the next election.
The headline will read, “New York Elects Black Mayor” as opposed to, “Rockefeller Appoints New Mayor”.
