Hillary-Assassination-Seed one ups Johnny Apple Seed.

Hmmm.  Now let's think about this.  A few days before Hillary-Assassination-Seed began sowing her seeds, we kept hearing about the possibility that she might be the Vice Presidential candidate with Barack Obama.

The idea didn't seem to have a lot of support (or maybe it did and we just didn't know it), but apparently it WAS a possibility considered very seriously by certain movers and shakers.

And then suddenly Hillary starts sowing her seeds.

Happy seeds for her since they raise the possibly of “defeating” Obama by electing him and then (let's see, what was that word?) oh yes, the assassination word.

Wow, would that be an end run to end all end runs or what?

Look, in all seriousness, that's a word that should NEVER have come out of the mouth of the Clinton camp.  Do we or do we not know that our country is still populated with violent white supremacists and is it or is it not the case that Bill/Hillary just can't seem to shut up these days about racism, racism, and more racism?

So, how about NOT throwing gasoline on what is already is blazing fire.  Remember the recent Huckabee assassination "jokes" in front of the NRA?

How about not sowing seeds into the "Let's assassinate another Presidential candidate" camp?  How about not sowing seeds into the "Let's assassinate another black hero camp". And how about not sowing seeds into the "Let's assassinate another President" camp?

Of course, none of these scenarios were explicitly stated by "the Clintons" (two bodies, one psyche)?  No, they were not, but that's the thing about seeds, isn't it?  They just have to be tossed about there and, gee, who knows what will happen.

"Food for thought", that's the phrase that exactly fits her remarks, "food for thought" - - and we bloody well know it.

Under certain conditions, "saying certain things" can be a mortal sin (to borrow a Catholic theologism). And this wasn't a gaffe or a goof, this was a moral sin whopper.

Let's pray it hasn't impregnated folks who for whom precisely such food for thought is tasty indeed.

God Bless and protect Barack Obama, our next President of the United States.

Hillary a sicko?

There is something seriously wrong with Hillary.  The fact that she could float this dispicable conjecture inviting an assassination senario ought to be the final nail in the coffin of her campaign.  That it's not likely to be so only speaks to the cowardice of the punditoracy.  What more evidence does anyone need to know that she's totally ruthless?  What will it take to drive a stake through the heart of this vampire?

Mr Olbermann's unfortunate comment.

To Keith Olbermann-

YOU are the one making a big deal out of the word assassination!!! Obama's life has been threatened before Hillary said anything from the reports on TV.  Obama KNOWINGLY belonged to a church with a minister that hated America. We ARE judged by the company we keep. Obama puts himself in danger.

Hillary knows her life is in danger as a candidate as ANY political candidate runs that risk. You sound like you are calling people to kill her- (worse than inciting a riot).

Hillary is right-WE DO NEED AT LEAST TWO CANDIDATES UP UNTIL THE NOMINATION-THE ONLY CANDIDATE WE HAVE COULD GET KILLED IN A PLANE CRASH!!!!!!!

Mr. Olbermann, you show little common sense and intellect in your one sided hate arguments.

hrc is a disgrace!

Keith was too easy on her.

If you knew your history you would know that she is not the first woman to run. We have already had a woman run for president and be on the ballot in all 50 states. And I voted for her. And she was Black! She is no trailblazer!

hrc is a disgrace.

She didn't just make a slip. She  is a very intelligent woman. She knew exactly what she was doing. She has said it before.

What she did WAS a big deal. You NEVER utter those words. And it had no place in the answer to the question asked.

For most of us who lived through those horrible years and have had to watch what has happened to us since then and wonder what might have been, we know that what she has been doing is unforgivable.

But do you know what the worst part of this whole farce is: I'm not surprised at her behavior. I expected it all along.

THE WHOLE WORLD IS WATCHING!

dear Troll

The specter of assassination IS a big deal.  I lived through the 60's, maybe  you didn't.  But if you did, or if you study history, how DARE you suggest that it's no big deal to invoke political assassination?

If she had brought it up and discussed it fully?

I would have responded to her candor (which she just ain't got).  She is a dangerous sociopath.  The evidence lies in her repeated conscienceless lies and in the wannabee sociopaths that she gathers around her.

Common Sense

Some people are jumping to conclusions and showing some amazing SELF PROJECTION about what Hillary meant by her comments. NO WHERE IN HER IMPROMPTU DISCUSSION did she say someone should kill Obama. Some no-it-alls are saying that IS what she meant. How do you get to that end?  Are these people adding fuel to their own ideas and perhaps truly adding to Obama's risk of harm? Everyone knows there are always threats to political candidates lives.

I get so tired of the woman hating men and women in this country who can't see the venom is in themselves, not a woman who has worked very hard to get where she is-contrary to the easy road the good ol boys system lets men get away with.

People think they are being noble by getting behind Obama because of his African American heritage. There cannot be a worse form of racial prejudice holding someone to lesser standards. With the indiscretions he has already committed in his less than impressive senate record, taking money to change wording in a bill that allows radiation in run off ground water, (HARMING THE PLANET) allowing someone to pay for the roof over his head even with the very good salary he makes as a senator. (For what favors we do not know because the media refuses to examine his past dealings and expose them. I believe that if the media had done their job early on Obama would not have gotten some of the votes he did.

I hold all people running for office to the same high mark and whereas Hillary is not perfect and as I understand has also taken money for political favors (but none that I know of that blatantly harm the planet)-I know she loves this country and the Cllintons would balance the federal budget-we have NO CLUE ABOUT OBAMA'S ABILITIES IN THIS AREA. OUR COUNTRY CANNOT STAND MORE ECONOMIC DISASTER BECAUSE OF BAD MANAGEMENT.

Simple reality

The simple reality here Carol, is that neither Democratic candidate is up to the job. Neither has the credentials, experience or moral fortitude or fiber for being President.

I am looking at Cynthia McKinney -she will get my vote. We  do not need any more Clintons with their DLC/Republican agenda.

One point no one addresses

Trying to unite the Republican and Democratic parties is contrary to what keeps our political system in check. Someone needs to explain this to the youth of America.

Just as Iran and Iraq were keeping each other somewhat in check as enemies before Bush got rid of Saddam, we need whistle blowers and watchdogs monitoring our system. If everyone in Washington acts as one party we edge closer and closer to a dictatorship and no one (and certainly not the media) would be able to stand up to that amount of power.
