Did America Win at Last Nights Debate?

While watching the Democratic Presidential Debate last night I couldn’t help wonder where the audiences heads were at. John Edwards said some striking things about the corporate controlled campaign of Hillary Clinton and the audience actually booed him! Is this the America that we want at this time? Hasn’t it been made explicitly clear that Corporate America doesn’t care what happens to Middle America in their quest for greater profits and more control over our government?

John Edwards sees the light. There is no one except Dennis Kuchinich that sees this as plainly as John Edwards. To believe that Hillary Clinton will bring America out of the “Dark Ages” as far as corporate control over almost every facet of our weakened republic is ridiculous. There will be no difference between a Bush administration and a Clinton administration except Hillary will be better at “spinning” the things she will do to endear herself to her corporate backers than Bush.

We will see no significant campaign finance reform with a Clinton presidency. I think that in John Edwards that could be one of his first orders of business if you can take him at his word about ridding this country from corporate control. The American people need to wake up from their protracted slumber. This nation isn’t going to find a way out of the mess that eight years of this Bush Presidency and all the trouble it’s caused with Hillary Clinton at the helm. She has already said that we will have combat troops in Iraq until 2013. Why? What’s the purpose of that? Why delay the inevitable? As long as we are in Iraq in an illegal occupation that is not winning the “hearts and minds” of the Iraqi people, our presence their will bring noting but more converts to Islamic opposition to us.

Do people want a dynastic form of government? How long will two corporate controlled families with ever increasing ties to each other sit in the White House? Isn’t it time that America had some fresh air for a change? Hillary Clinton is, like her husband that she learned the trade from, a consummate politician that will bring us down the road to more saber-rattling and “free-trade” agreements that are not in this nation’s best interest. The old Clintons are gone; they have been accepted into the same fold as the Bush family. How many times have you read about the fast friendship between the Clintons and the Bush’s?

The American people need to realize what time it is. We can lose our government forever to the corporate oligarchy with a Clinton win, or we can make our way back to undoing some of the damage that Republicans have brought to our form of government. Hillary has voted continuously to support the war in Iraq, to designate Iran’s Republican Guard as a “terrorist” organization, to vote for the Patriot Act, and voted to fund this war at every juncture. Her record would make any Republican proud. Take her at what she does, not what she says. I was born at night but I wasn’t born last night. After watching the debate on TV I see nothing new in what Clinton says. The only one on that stage last night who has voted against every war resolution and every threat to our civil liberties correctly, every time is Dennis Kucinich. Why can’t American’s see this? Are we all so enamored of the Clintons that we will put them back in office and get more free trade agreements and more war? Think about it, I have.

That’s the way I see it.

Vote Republican for Torture & Endless War!

Democrats need to innoculate the public against swift boating, fear of mushroom clouds, and "Islamofascists." Progressives need to start sporting pro-Richardson (Dodd, Biden, Kucinich) T shirts and bumper stickers to counteract the MSM's shameful exclusion of these fine candidates, and to bolster their name recognition. Richardson is gaining his stride, and he deserves all the support we can give him. We could start now with some anti-Repug slogans too.  Maybe something like, "Vote Republican for Torture & Endless War,"  or "Waterboarding is Patriotic: Elect Rudy," or "Defeat the Bill of Rights! Elect Giuliani."

Don't you know?

Didn't you know that it's been preordained that Hillary will be the next president? Do you know about the Bilderburg Group?

Look, our entire system is a sham. Nothing as it seems to be. This whole dog & pony show we call our election process is something they do to make the people think they actually have a say in who is going to lead this country. Nothing could be further from the truth.

Bill Clinton attended the Bilderburg Group secret meeting the year before he was "elected". Hillary was "rumored", to have attended to 06' meeting.

If she becomes president and does two terms that would mean that either someone named Bush or Clinton has ruled over this nation of 330,000,000 people for 28 years. And they call people like me that think there's something wrong with a system that out of 330,000,000 people we have the same two families, with the same policies, ruling us for this long, conspiracy nuts.

If we had a fair election process, we'd have universal health care, no wars, the Federal Reserve Bank and the IRS would be history, schools that actually educated, streets that were safe to walk and drive down, and citizen statesman, instead of a revolving door of career politicians.

So, did America win the debate? What America? There is no America like the one we were taught in school anymore. That America has been steadily eroded, bought-off and corrupted to the core by the 1%ers who meet every year in secret to determine who will rule where and what wars will be fought that will keep them control of nearly everything and everybody on this planet.

Edwards talks about the elephant in the room

I take it as a win that the distinction of the corporate money came up in the debate.  The pressure is mounting.  The Judiciary Committee has to act on the Articles of Impeachment.

The issues are rising and being spoken of by a credible candidate.  I am sure that the big contributors to the Edwards campaign are being scrutinized as we speak.  As the dirty contributors are brought out in the public eye the issue will become more important to a larger cross section of America.

The free trade agreements will become more important.  Maybe someone will comment on the 9/11 cover - up.  All the inaction to search for a more truthful explaination seems to indicate a concerted effort which benifits a select group.  The evidence really fits to indicate it was all part of some very intricate plan to separate our country from the controlling influence of its people.

Keep up the good fight.  It is the only one worth fighting.

NOt as highblown as all that

Edwards and Obama attacked Hillary because she has a double digit lead over them, and for no other reason. They were booed because she leads in that State by a large margin.

She is a consumate politician and will win the nomination and probably the election as well, though the campaign will be one of the most rancid in our history I suspect. We will continue to get the politicians we deserve until we awaken from our political slumber and remodel our corrupt and exclusive system. I fail to see how Edwards or Obama offer real choices either, they are wedded to the same system and beholden to the same monied class as is Mrs. Clinton. Obama hasnt the principles to even show up for important votes, votes that might challenge his crafted image. Is that what we want?

It was a shot that could start a revolution

I said I think it was important that Edwards one of the top three for the Dems fired a shot concerning Corporate influence.  "WE THE PEOPLE" are left to the benifit of that alone at this time.  It is a good topic that should receive considerable mileage.  The 9/11/2001 cover-up is another.

I consider Edward's as a possible compromise candidate.  I won't vote for Hillary or Obama.  Dennis is the most honorable of the lot.  I am realistic that they will spend any amount to keep him from getting the nomination.  He is a zealot who is quite virtuous compared to the rest of the pack.  I am going to dis-enroll as a democrat because of the party leaders and their resistance to Impeachment.  I would vote for Ron Paul over the Corporate Darlings of the Democratic Party.  I would rather support attacking the Neo-Cons from within their Party.

Government is suppose to be for the people not considering using its own military against its own citizens.  That is not a characteristic of a free society but neither is bearing the distinction of having the largest per capita of its population inprissoned.  Its amazing how these pirates have perverted the rule of law in this nation.

Ron Paul?

So you favor privatisation of Social Security? You support an ending of the social safety nets provided by our government to citizens in dire need as well? You also lean towards a continuation of rampant capitalism and no controls over it by our governmental agencies?

That is what you support when you speak about a Ron Paul Presidency.....

Hitlery can bake a cake

and have her attorney whacked without even flinching. The only difference in Hitlery and dubya is that Hitlery has a brain, that will make her ten times more the minion of satan than dubya. Have we forgotten Whitewater? Will we ignore the 47 people that now reside in a cemetary because of the Clintons? Is Mena such a forgotten word that no one will bring it up at the debates? Come on people, we need to be reminding everyone of the stories the press wont touch. Come on Tim, its time to open those old wounds and bleed that monster to death before the media has the sheep sold. I take every opportunity  when talking to voters to mention the facts that will ignite a debate and make the sheeple think.  If we are ruled by the face that sank a thousand ships we too will go under.
