Alberto Gonzalez digs his heels in Gonzalez-gate and pledges to go on working. He pledges to, "stay focused to protect our children." Just like Bush digs his heels in Iraq to, "protect us from terrorists," Alberto Gonzalez, Bush's Attorney General, digs his heels over at the Justice Department, claiming that he is doing so in order to, "protect our children" ...  

What a falsely transparent claim if ever I heard one.  Gonzalez digs his heels at the Justice Department so he can continue to rescue and protect Bush from the hands of Justice. His mere words are an insult to every sane American. 

--"Are you mocking us, Alberto Gonzalez?"-my brain, rattled by anger, disbelief, surprise and what not at Alberto Gonzalez' copy cat words of Bush's, "I will not leave Iraq", screamed inside of me sending a jolt through my entire system, as I heard his intention to go on working for the purpose of taking care of our children just like Bush intends to stay in Iraq to protect us from terrorists. 

(Dear God! Save us from false saviors!) 

"Who are you mocking?" --The anger inside my brain, screeching out fumes visible almost to the naked eye, asked incredulously. 

"Who are you protecting our children from?"  "Who do you take us for?" 

Are you protecting our children from a pair of lying criminals like yourself and George Bush whose mission in the last four to six years has been to lie, manipulate, torture, kill, maim and disregard the voice of the people, from the very beginning of day one when Bush lost the election but his father's cronies procured the chair of the oval office for him? 

Are you protecting our children from your endless lies?  

Are you, Sir, protecting our children from yours and George's bottomless pit of greed and insane need for power and control?  

How pitiful you look and sound, standing there in front of a lectern, copycatting, a la cowboy, the words of George Walker Bush, "I will not budge.""I will not budge."

"No sireee! I will not budge!"   

You say this, knowing all the time that the spine you stand on is not your own, it is Bush's and the spine that he stands on is not his own, it is that of his father's name and his own bully ante-which he throws about as long as he feels protected by his environment but never when he feels that the parameters of his environment offer him no protection. 

Not once Señor Gonzalez have you labored to protect our children-though you have labored much to protect Bush from the hands of justice.

Why do you so cowardly feel that you need to grab at our children to protect your own hide?  That, Señor Gonzalez is, plain and simple nothing more than abuse-but Abuse might just be your middle name.  After all, you wrote the memo for the Bush administration which okayed torture and gave the Bush boy okay to go ahead with inflicting pain on others. 

You have also labored much to protect your job, which you tell us, that only by the Grace of Bush were you able to attain it, keep it and sustain it since you tire not of telling us that you, " were appointed by Bush and that you serve at the pleasure of the President," and we know that, the pleasure of the President knows that you see your job not as one in which you are commissioned to protect or work for the People-but one in which you see yourself as the Protector of Bush.
